Athena enjoys affection and attention from her favorite humans and is always ready for cuddles, fetch, or a good squeaky toy adventure.<br/><br/>Athena is friendly with children of all ages and does well with other dogs too. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a few treats (especially hot dogs, jerky treats, or bacon!) and you’ll quickly earn her trust. Once she feels comfortable, she’ll happily greet you with tail wags, zoomies, and requests for snuggles on the couch or in a cozy bed.<br/><br/>This smart girl is eager to learn and loves positive rewards. Tennis balls, plush toys, rope toys, chew toys, sticks—you name it, Athena thinks it’s the best day ever! One of our favorite things is watching her proudly carry around a toy like she’s showing off treasure she discovered in the backyard. Fun fact: Athena can turn any ordinary afternoon into a full comedy show with her goofy fetch skills and lightning-fast zoomies!<br/><br/>Athena would thrive in an active home that can give her daily walks, playtime, mental enrichment, and lots of human interaction. A fenced yard would be a big bonus for this playful sunshine pup.
