Looking for a fun playmate? Athena is a 1-year-old lab mix*. She is a beautiful pup with the most graceful/majestic prance. She can be a bit shy at first but quickly warms up for attention. Athena is dog friendly and has done great in play groups. If you have another dog in the home, we require a meet and greet to be sure the fit is right. We think she would enjoy having a canine buddy. We don’t know how she feels about cats yet but will cat test her soon. We know she would appreciate a home with a fully fenced yard to run and prance in safely. We are just getting to know this beautiful girl and will update as we learn more. You can meet Athena on Saturdays from 10-2 at Dogs Forever, 809 Rockford Rd SW in Cedar Rapids. Dogs Forever of Iowa's Adoption Policy

All dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, checked for heartworm and on heartworm preventative. Adoption fees vary by age.
