Dogs Forever of Iowa

Our Mission Dogs Forever of Iowa is dedicated to rescuing homeless, abused, and neglected dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages with a special emphasis on those deemed "hard-to-place". As an Adoption Guarantee shelter, all dogs will stay in our care until we have found their forever homes. Our Safe Place shelter is located at 809 Rockford Road SW in Cedar Rapids IA. During this time of COVID we o not have open hours to the public. We ask if there is a dog you are interested in to fill out an application and if we feel it may be a good fit we will contact you about meeting the dog. Visit our website for an adoption form. We are an all-volunteer-run organization. Please consider financially supporting our life-saving work. A donation of any amount helps buy food and provide veterinary care.
