Meet Astro!<br/><br/>Astro is a fun, active 1.5 year old Chihuahua terrier mix. He is a bigger and taller Chihuahua mix, weighing in at 12-13 lbs. <br/><br/>Astro is friendly and wants to meet and give kisses to every person he sees. He loves to play fetch and is strong when playing tug-of-war. He likes going on walks and can walk 2-3 miles<br/>no problem and runs in circles in the backyard when we get home. He does need training to learn not pull on walks. He would do best with another dog his size that loves to run, chase and wrestle. He is a medium energy dog. After play time he’s a pretty laid back dog who likes to snuggle on the couch.<br/><br/>He is potty trained and crate trained. He can get possessive/guarding with his dog bones, and can be growly in his crate. Astro is a typical young dog that needs to learn not to jump on people. Care and training must be given in these cases. He is a smart and fast learning dog. He knows some commands such as how to sit, stay/leave it. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.<br/><br/>Reference checks and a home visit are required so midwest dogs can only be adopted in OH, KY, IL, MI, and WI.
