Aster is what we like to call a "thinker." He is observant and serious, often taking a moment to survey his surroundings with a wise, watchful eye.<br/><br/>While he has a "front of the pack" confidence and loves to let loose with some playfulness outside, he is the ultimate gentleman indoors. His favorite activity? Finding a cozy dog bed and settling in for a long nap. He is potty trained, wonderful with children, and has even passed the "cat test" with flying colors.<br/><br/>Aster can be a little standoffish with strangers at first—he prefers to make friends on his own terms rather than rushing in—but once you’re in his circle, he is deeply affectionate. He isn't the biggest fan of the crate, but he manages it like a pro. <br/><br/>Aster is looking for a family that appreciates a smart, loyal companion who values peace and quiet as much as they do.<br/><br/>Currently located/fostering in Texas but available with transport included. <br/><br/>Our adoption process includes speaking with current foster/caretaker for additional personality information, pictures, video, and video call (if available).<br/><br/>We work with trusted rescue transports that take great care of the fur babies and keep adopters and rescues in the loop the entire trip with dedicated group chats and Life360 tracking, so you know exactly how they are doing and where they are at always.<br/><br/>Fully vetted:<br/>Neutered<br/>Up to date on vaccinations<br/>Heartworm tested negative <br/>On preventatives<br/>Microchipped with lifetime registration<br/><br/><br/>Adoption fee: $650, includes transport
