Asta's Story
www.huskyrescueteam.org

If you have additional questions please email info@huskyrescueteam.org

Asta is a 11 month old, bi-eyed, long coated white Siberian Husky who’s ready to turn the page and find his forever family!

Asta’s journey has been a little bumpy so far. He arrived at Animal Control as a stray, and while his owner initially reclaimed him, just two weeks later, he was surrendered due to a landlord’s no-pet policy.

Asta is a young Siberian Husky with boundless energy, big brains, and a doggy play style best described as WWE's next rising star.

Asta adores other dogs, especially big ones who won’t blink twice when he body-slams into a game of tag. His play is bold, boisterous, and energized, so he wouldn’t be a great match for sensitive or laid-back dogs. But if your pup’s idea of a good time includes headlocks and high-speed chases, Asta’s your guy!

He’d also thrive as a solo dog in a high-energy household where daily exercise isn’t just a bonus but a way of life. Regular opportunities for structured social play, like group hikes or doggy daycare, could be a pawfect outlet for his sociable streak. We'd love if his new humans have working breed experience and understand the magic of mixing mental challenges with physical outlets.

Smart? Absolutely. Derpy? Just as much.

Asta is wildly intelligent, but still a goofy pup at heart... equal parts strategy and clumsy charm. He’ll keep you laughing, thinking, and moving.

If looking for a partner in adventure, mischief, and the kind of joy that only comes from raising a bold, brilliant pup than Asta is your guy!

Located in MD. Free transport within Eastern US. More photos and video of Asta here:
https://huskyrescueteam.org/asta

~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply

If you have additional questions please email info@huskyrescueteam.org
