Aspen's Story

Aspen has made her way to New England in search of a home! Aspen had a tough start to life, having been abandoned in a cemetery with her siblings. She was understandably nervous here at the shelter, but she has made fantastic strides in her foster home! In her foster home, Aspen does great following the lead of her best doggie friend. Since she enjoys his company so much, we think she would like to go home with a friendly dog. We would be happy to do a dog meeting here at the shelter. She could also go home as an only dog, though it may take her slightly longer to settle in without a pup to show her the ropes. All adoptions are done on an appointment only basis, for specific animals. No animals have multiple families visiting them at one time, this wouldn't be fair to them or for you. Because of this, we do not book out appointment more than 24-48 hours in advance. We are CLOSED for browsing at this time to keep the stress level of the animals in our care as low as possible. Thank you for your understanding! We DONT have online applications, we prefer to have a open line of communication with our potential adopters. Our process is more educational based. Our adoption counselors will be able to tell you if the animal you're interested in will be able to go home the same day.
