Her foster lovingly calls her an "angel"... but quickly adds that she's also a bit of a pistol!<br/><br/>Aspen came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation involving 130 dogs, yet she has discovered that she has opinions-and she's not afraid to share them. She likes to supervise the other dogs and has a delightfully bossy streak, so she'd do best with easygoing, docile small dogs who don't mind letting her think she's running the household.<br/><br/>She also enjoys the sound of her own voice and isn't shy about announcing when she has something to say. Because of that, a home without shared walls would probably be best.<br/><br/>Aspen is crate trained, potty pad trained, and rides nicely in the car. She absolutely loves spending time in a securely fenced yard, where she can explore and soak up the sunshine. Leashes are still a new adventure, so she'll need a family willing to help her gain confidence at her own pace.<br/><br/>Because she can be nervous and likes life to be predictable, Aspen is looking for a home without children.
