Aspen's Story

AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY.

Meet Aspen! Aspen is a 3 month old female great pyrenees and she weighs about 20 pounds, but she could grow up to weigh over 70 pounds. Aspen arrived in rescue after being part of an accidental litter. She has been in a loving foster home since she was 8 weeks old. She is an active puppy that will need a family up for all things puppyhood brings - leash training, house training, socialization and learning that flip flops are for feet, not food. Great Pyrenees are very smart and very active and need a family that will understand this, as well as their grooming needs. Her foster mom says: This calm, loving girl doesn’t demand attention, she quietly earns it. Aspen will happily sit beside you, patiently waiting with those soft eyes until you notice her, and once you do, she soaks up every bit of love you’re willing to give. Aspen absolutely adores the outdoors. Fresh air, open space, and a cozy spot outside with you are her happy places! She brings a peaceful, easygoing presence to any home and is just as content relaxing as she is enjoying time outside. Not much of a barker, Aspen saves her voice for moments of play, adding to her calm and gentle nature. She’s the perfect match for someone looking for an affectionate companion who will always be right by your side. She would do well with an active family who enjoys the outdoors.

Aspen is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on flea and heartworm prevention.

Aspen is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $525. If you are interested in applying to adopt Aspen, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
