He showed up as an emaciated, malnourished stray at an overcrowded shelter in North Carolina, and while he appeared timid in his kennel, once he’s out and about his true personality shines. Aspen is social, affectionate, and a total cuddle bug who just wants to be near his people.<br/><br/>This lovable boy gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is house trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He aims to please, is eager to learn, and is truly a friend to everyone he meets.<br/><br/>Aspen, who is on the skinny side, is already feeling better. With love, care, and most importantly regular meals, he’s putting on the weight he so desperately needed and growing stronger every single day. He will likely be medium-sized once he’s filled out a bit.
