Aspen's Story

Meet Aspen!

Aspen is part of a true 4th of July miracle. We rescued her mama, Hazel, from the shelter on the literal day of her scheduled spay-abort surgery when she was full-term pregnant. Exactly one week later, Aspen and her 11 brothers and sisters were safely born into our care!

Having grown up at our facility, Aspen has been wonderfully socialized with both people and other dogs from day one.

Aspen is our rambunctious but tender soul who likes to take a few minutes to read the room before diving in. But the moment she knows you’re her person, she is all in to play. If you have a little patience and a cozy spot on the couch, Aspen is ready to be your gentlest, most loyal shadow.
