Aspen's Story

Sex: Spayed
Size: Large
Approximate age: 4 years

She’s timid at first, so please proceed at approximately snail speed. Treats? Meh. Apparently, she has standards. New people? Suspicious. Sometimes she’s friendly, sometimes she’s skittish and sometimes she’s ready to file a formal complaint about your existence.
As for other dogs, she had a brief meeting through the chain-link fence and basically said, “Oh, you’re a dog? Neat.” Sniff. “Anyway...” and walked away to continue minding her own business.
She’s a quirky, cautious girl who needs patience, respect and someone willing to let her decide when you’re cool. Once she trusts you, you’ll have earned the approval of one very selective little lady.
