Aspen's Story

Wanted: unpaid bipedal servant to shower judgmental golden-ager with love, belly rubs, and limitless compliments.

Aspen is a sweet even tempered Corgi/mini Aussie mix looking for a soft place to start over after her human struggled to keep her. She’s approx 8 y/o and 36#. She should lose a few pounds to get to a healthier weight. She’s a relatively low maintenance girl who requires daily walks to keep her in shape. She’s potty trained, likes her crate as a safe space, dog friendly, and in good health, although she will need a dental soon. We don’t recommend young children <10 or excitable young dogs in her new home just to protect her zen. She likes belly rubs and being with her person so someone home more often than not would be best. We have not cat tested her but her previous owner said that she’s fine with cats. She’d love a fenced in yard and a kind hearted human who will love and care for her. Aspen is spayed, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. If you are interested in meeting Aspen the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Aspen’s adoption fee is $300 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

We also require the dogs will not be left unsupervised outdoors for long periods of time, ride in the back of a truck or left inside vehicles unattended. We require that dogs never be left unsupervised with small children.
