She is very wary of strangers but loves her people deeply and is the kind of dog who forms unbreakable bonds with those she trusts. Once you are part of her inner circle, you will be rewarded with endless affection, goofy moments, and a fiercely loyal companion by your side.<br/><br/> The Urgency<br/>Asia came to the shelter as a pup and has been patiently waiting at the shelter for over a year. She recently completed a comprehensive board and train program and is now back at the shelter waiting for a forever home. We urgently need to find her a family or a foster before she begins to deteriorate from the prolonged stress of kennel life and forgets all that she learnt at the training facility. We will continue to provide guidance to the adoptive family to help Asia transition and recall her training as she settles in her new home.<br/> <br/>Brains and Beauty<br/>Asia is absolutely stunning and incredibly smart dog who truly shines when given structure and guidance. Thanks to her hard work at the training facility, she has a wonderful foundation!<br/><br/> Basic Commands: She knows sit, down, place, recall, and out.<br/> Leash Skills: She walks beautifully on a leash.<br/> Always Growing: She is highly engaged, loves using her brain, and is always eager to learn more!<br/><br/> Asia's Ideal Home<br/>Asia is a girl who knows what she likes, and she is happiest when her social circle remains small and consistent. She can be selective about meeting new people and requires adopters who are committed to managing introductions carefully and advocating for her comfort level with strangers.<br/> Family Dynamics: At this time, she will do best in an adult-only home.<br/> Furry Siblings: She may do well with another dog if the match is right and introductions are handled properly and patiently.<br/> The Vibe: A structured, understanding environment where her boundaries are respected and she can safely decompress.<br/><br/>While her need for careful introductions to strangers narrows her pool of potential adopters, the right family will discover an intelligent, loving dog who is absolutely worth the effort.
