Asher (Great Dog)'s Story

Asher is a GREAT DOG with a wonderful temperament.

He is about 18 months old and 72 lbs. He clearly has German Shepherd in him, but we don't know what else. Asher is a very sweet, loving, happy and playful dog, As you would expect of a German Shepherd, he is very smart, learns quickly, is food motivated and wants to please.

Unlike most German Shepherds, he is not at all aggressive nor does he show protective tendencies. Instead, he is submissive and loves being petted by everyone, including people that he has just met. When he goes to the dog park, he runs from person to person wanting to be petted. Everyone who meets him thinks he is a great dog. Although he was raised with small kids and is behaviorally fine with them, his exuberant behavior makes him better suited to a home without very small children as he might knock them over.

Asher is young and has a lot of energy. He needs a large fenced yard (a physical fence, not an electronic fence) to be happy. Asher loves to have a ball in his mouth. He is good with the other dogs in the house. Asher is good in the car. He is house-trained and crate-trained.

Asher is up to date on his shots, neutered, microchipped, dewormed and is heartworm negative.

I asked the Doggy Day Care to give me a description of Asher, and this is what they said:
Asher is smart, silly, energetic, sweet, totally fine with dogs, wants to please and is responsive to humans but needs some direction.

If you're interested in Asher, please TEXT (don't call) Nancy at 908-892-9583 or email her at heldnancy31@gmail.com.
