Asher was saved with his 2 siblings from San Antonio's highest kill shelter . His brother and sister are already a long time ago adopted but poor Asher is still waiting on his forever HOME . Asher is very shy and just tries to avoid people when he sees them . For this reason people are not interested in him because they don't give him a chance . Asher just needs a little bit time . His sister and brother were the same and opened already up in a week with their adopter . Asher is still dreaming of his golden basket where he can feel safe and being loved . Asher is almost 4 years old . He is a black kelpie and DOG and CAT friendly . Asher is in foster care in Huntington NY . We don't adopt our adult shepherds to families with children under the age of 10 . We don't adopt our shepherds to apartment or condo owners . Nor do we adopt out when the yard is not fully fenced .

A-Team ELITE Rescue Dogs is a non-profit rescue based out of New York. We work primarily with German Shepherds. We pull abused and neglected dogs from high kill shelters, provide them with needed medical care including up-to-date-shots and spay/neuter.
