Poke, poke. Hey you! Yes you! My name is Asher. What’s yours? Did you know “Asher”' in Hebrew means “happy”? I am currently at the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Shelter and in search of a furever home. I am a very happy 3-year-old boy when I get to play in the shelter’s yard, but being inside the kennel is a huge stress. I really hate being locked in here. Help me get outta here- pleaseeee!! Unfortunately, Rancho Cucamonga Animal Shelter recently changed their policies due to being short staffed and are only allowing people who want to adopt (not foster) a meeting with me prior. Thus, I’m only open for adoption. I could, however, be fostered if you don’t mind not meeting me beforehand. Passion for Pitties would adopt me and then I’d come live with you as my foster mom/dad! Again, we wouldn’t be able to meet beforehand in this case. However, shelter staff say I’m a good dog. I know how to “sit” on command, I love toys, and I get along well with other dogs. Since I’m a little bigger (81 lbs), I may not realize how hard I play; but, I settle down if I need to. I recently played with a small chihuahua and she put me in my place- lol! Thus, I listen to other dogs. Please help me get out of the shelter.
