At 7 years old and approximately 45 pounds, Asha has spent most of her life in shelters after being rescued at a very young age alongside some of her brothers and sisters.<br/><br/>Asha is a girl who knows how to enjoy the simple things in life. One of her favorite hobbies is climbing onto big rocks and quietly taking in the world around her. She loves rolling around in the warm sunshine during the summer and has just as much fun playing in the snow when winter arrives. While she enjoys spending time outdoors, Asha is truly a laid back girl at heart and would happily spend her days as a professional couch potato.<br/><br/>Asha can be shy when meeting new people, especially in unfamiliar or loud environments. She needs time and patience to feel comfortable, but once she learns to trust you, you’ll have a loyal companion who will want to be right by your side. She can also be selective about her dog friends, but once she gets to know another dog, she loves having fun and playing with them.<br/><br/>Asha would thrive in a quiet, low activity home with a dog savvy adopter who understands that building trust takes time. She needs a patient person who will give her the safe, comfortable space she needs to slowly adjust and feel secure in her new home.
