Ash's Story

Tiny Bear Cub. Professional Goofball. Smiles Like Every Day Is the Best Day Ever.

Ash is the kind of puppy who walks into a room and immediately raises the happiness level by at least 50 percent. With his scruffy black coat, fuzzy beard, and tiny white chest patch that looks like he accidentally spilled a little paint on himself, this boy is ridiculously cute.

Born on March 22, 2026, Ash is a handsome Giant Schnauzer/Blue Heeler mix with oversized paws, expressive eyes, and the kind of grin that makes people stop what they're doing just to smile back.

His general outlook on life seems to be:

"Oh, we're doing something? Perfect. I'd love to join."

Ash is playful, social, and wonderfully affectionate. He loves people and enjoys being part of whatever is happening around him. Whether it's exploring the yard, playing with toys, romping around with his siblings, or simply hanging out nearby, Ash is fully invested in the fun.

Other dogs? Absolutely.

Ash loves canine company and enjoys wrestling, chasing, and learning from his puppy friends. He would be thrilled to have another playful dog in the home but would also do wonderfully as the center of someone's universe.

And despite his goofy side, this boy is bright. With a Giant Schnauzer's intelligence and a Blue Heeler's quick-thinking nature, Ash is likely going to grow into a very smart, eager-to-learn companion. He's curious, observant, and ready to soak up everything the world has to offer.

Now, to be transparent:

Ash is still very much a puppy. Which means:

He's working on potty training
He's learning crate skills
He'll need continued socialization and basic training
He occasionally gets mouthy in that completely normal, playful puppy way
He has enough puppy energy and curiosity to keep life entertaining

But honestly? That's what makes him so fun.

Ash is the kind of puppy who makes every day feel a little brighter. The kind who greets you like you've been gone for years, flops beside you when he's tired, and somehow manages to be both hilarious and incredibly sweet all at once.

He's scruffy, happy, intelligent, and absolutely full of personality.

+++++++

ADOPTION APPLICATION:
https://form.jotform.com/260401018308040

+++++++

Ash is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to the perfect forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week!

+++++++

The Truth About Rescue:

Every rescue pup is a work in progress and thats the beauty of it. None of them come wrapped in a bow, ready-made or mistake-free. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again.

Adoption isnt about perfection; its about presence. Showing up for them, every day, until they know theyre finally home. Thats when youll see them bloom soft and steady into the very best version of themselves. And somewhere along the way, youll realize they were never the only one being rescued.

+++++++

What Is a Benefactor Dog or Puppy, and Why Is the Adoption Fee Higher?

Benefactor dogs and puppies are typically purebreds or high-demand rescues who tend to find homes quicklyeven with a higher adoption fee. These dogs play a special role in our mission.

Their increased fees help cover the costs for dogs who need much more time, care, and resources before theyre ready for adoption. Some dogs spend monthseven over a yearin our care, requiring expensive surgeries, heartworm treatment, behavioral training, or ongoing medical support.

By adopting a Benefactor dog, you're not only giving them a loving homeyoure also helping to fund the second chance of another dog still waiting for theirs. Its a meaningful way to make a difference beyond just one life.

+++++++

Once we have received your application, we will review and reach out to set-up an interview with one of our volunteers! If you have additional questions, please email us at SaintMuttsInquiries@gmail.com.

Note: As with all of our rescues, we recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.

Check out all of our adoptable pups and learn more about our rescue on our website: www.stmuttsrescue.com
