Ash

Meet Ash, a handsome Siberian husky who has never met a conversation he didn't want to join. At 53 pounds, he is a friendly, outgoing fellow with the classic husky talent for vocal commentary, and he is happy to share his thoughts on your day, his dinner, and the general state of affairs. He gets along well with people and other dogs, bringing an easygoing, fun loving presence wherever he goes. Ash also comes with a distinguishing feature that makes him look like a limited edition: his left eye is a blend of blue and brown, a trait called heterochromia that tends to get a lot of positive attention.<br/>Ash is heartworm positive and will begin treatment soon, which means the next chapter of his life includes a quieter recovery period before he returns to full activity. He may also have mild hip dysplasia, so a home that is comfortable with routine vet visits and keeping his exercise sensible will set him up well for the years ahead. Given his social nature, Ash would do best with a family who enjoys an active household, appreciates a dog with plenty to say, and has room in their life for a loyal, good humored companion. He has the personality of a born extrovert and a heart that is ready to be healthy and whole so he can share all of his love with someone special.
