All the animals that come to the rescue have been abused, abandoned or neglected. Most come with large vet bills, the only means that we have to pay our bills, food, treats, bedding, toys...supplies are by your financial donations! Or you can call and ask for Dianne @ 301-478-3300.<br/>This bio needs "fixed" it will be "repaired" shortly...<br/>***Why is this handsome boy here?<br/>Ash is a Lab / Husky mix, approximately 2 years old. He is now neutered, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and extremely loved! Ash lived in an apartment with only his dad. A neighbor came to check on them when she realized that she hadn't seen the two of them for a couple of days. Ash was found in the apartment, his dad had died! Ash was brought to The Ark of Hope Rescue in which we didn't has any information about him other then his name and that he was almost a year old. He is a "man's dog" we guess since he lived with only a man, maybe not much interaction with females, he prefers men! When Ash sees Bobby he gets all excited but when he sees Dianne it's no big deal. He's never been around children so we don't think he'd do good in that department. He LOVE iCloud, who is another dog here at The Ark of Hope. They run and play and have a great time together. It would be fantastic if we could find a wonderful home with a fenced yard that would adopt both iCloud and Ash, but we know that would be a huge request! Ash does deserves a wonderful life filled with love and with people he can learn to trust and feel safe with. We believe if we could find him the perfect home, WITH A FENCED YARD he'd make a great addition to the right family. He needs a family to love him and a family that he will learn to trust and love in return! Ash is an amazing pup that deserves a wonderful ending to an extremely sad and heart breaking life so far.<br/>If you may be that person or that family please follow the directions above in the second paragraph and let's make a meet and greet date!
