Forever home found

The adoption process starts with an Online Adoption Application you can find at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application.
Phone interviews do not take place til after an approved application is on file and we have a possible match for your home

My name is Arwen, I am 8 months old and I weigh 18 pounds, I need a new home because I was released from a breeder. I am being fostered in Lincoln, NE.

Arwen is a fitting name for me because I like to be queen of the pack, and I have beautifully pointed ears. I have very expressive eyes. I look deeply into your eyes and express with mine just how much I love you.

I will nap beside you whenever I have the chance. I love to sit and nap with my foster parents, but when it’s play time, watch out! Running and tussling with my foster siblings is so much fun! I try to be the queen bee ...... I’m much smaller than my foster siblings however it doesn’t stop me from joining in the fun.

I get along very well with my foster brother and sister dogs. I didn’t quite understand how to play the first few days in my foster home, but I’m getting the hang of it now. I haven’t been tried with cats or children, but I like to tussle, so cats might be a potential toy for me.

I’m learning to spend time in my kennel. Foster mom says I have the most pitiful little howl when I am put in my kennel. But once I realize my crying isn’t going to get me out of the kennel, I settle down. Most of the time I’m out of the kennel and sleep on the bed every night. Foster mom reports that I don’t snore and am such a snuggle bug.

I need to have a close eye on me when I’m out of the kennel and wandering around the house. That is because I’m not quite housetrained yet and don’t want to have accidents. I’m getting the idea that potty is for outside, and when foster mom says go potty, it doesn’t take me long to get down to business.

I am looking for a home to hold and love me. Having a brother or sister would be just fine with me.

Here's a little more about me:
Housetrained? Still working on it.
Leash-trained? I do well.
Rides well in a car? I tend to bounce around.
Good with other dogs? Yes.
Good with cats? not yet tested
Good with young children? not yet tested
Good with strangers? Yes.
Shy or confident? Confident.
Barks? Yes.
Apartment qualified? Yes.
Any Special needs or Health Issues? No.
Adoption Fee? $ 550

The adoption process starts with an Online Adoption Application you can find at ''https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application.

All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.

MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.

MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.

If you are Interested in Adoption please complete our online adoption application at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application

Petfinder's form is NOT our application.
