When I love you, I love you with my whole heart - and I do not do anything halfway.<br/><br/>Once I have decided you are my person, you will feel it in every look I give you. I will be curled up beside you on movie nights, tail wagging the moment you walk through the door, watching you with those big soulful eyes like you hung every star in the sky. My foster mom says I give more love than dogs twice my size - and she means it.<br/><br/>I am smart, spirited, and wonderfully self-possessed. I know my own mind, I know what I like, and I am not shy about it - which my foster mom finds completely endearing (and, okay, a little hilarious). I love keeping my mind busy with enrichment toys, and nothing makes me happier than settling in with one of my beloved soft toys after a good play session.<br/><br/>I am looking for an experienced dog owner - someone who gets that the best relationships are built, not rushed. A calm, patient home where I can settle in at my own pace is where I will truly thrive. To start the process of meeting our adoptable pets, please fill out an online questionnaire by using the Adoption Application link: Cats: https://carenorthshore.org/cat-adoption-survey Dogs: https://carenorthshore.org/dog-adoption-survey All adoptions and visits are by appointment only except the 2nd, 3rd, 4th Saturday of the month. If you see a cat or dog on our website that you are interested in, please fill out our cat adoption survey or dog adoption survey and a C.A.R.E. adoption counselor will contact you to answer any of your questions and to set up a meet and greet with the pet.
