Arty's Story

Are You Ready for a Dog Who Runs the Show (But Will Love You Like Crazy)?

Hi, I'm Arty-a small wire-coated pup with more opinions than a whole kennel full of dogs combined. And I'm not even a little bit sorry about it.

Let me be upfront with you: I'm what my foster mom politely calls "a dog who knows his own mind." What she means is that I have thoughts about absolutely everything, and I prefer when things go according to my plan. Which toys we play with? I'll decide. When I want pets? I'll let you know. Where we walk? I have opinions. How we spend our afternoon? Let's discuss.

But here's the beautiful part-I am absolutely head-over-paws in love with people. Seriously. Humans are my favorite thing in the entire world. Once I warm up to you (and yes, I need a little time to decide you're worthy of the incredible gift that is my affection), I will love you with every fiber of my wiry little being.

I'll curl up next to you when I'm feeling snuggly. I'll bounce around like a fuzzy ping-pong ball when you come home. I'll follow you from room to room because you're just that interesting. I'll gaze at you like you hung the moon. The love is real, deep, and absolutely guaranteed.

The catch? Everything happens on my schedule. I need to approach new people when I'm ready-no rushing me. I want affection when I want it, and space when I need it. I'll play when the mood strikes, not necessarily when you throw the ball. Think of me as a dog with the soul of a very particular cat, except I actually like you.

I'm looking for someone who gets that loving a dog like me means accepting the whole package-the quirks, the preferences, the strong personality, and yes, the need to do things my way. Someone who can laugh when I'm being extra and respect my boundaries when I need them.

In return? You get a companion who will love you fiercely, make you laugh daily, and bring more personality to your life than you ever thought possible. You get me, Arty-equal parts demanding and devoted.

So what do you say? Ready to let a small dog with big opinions steal your heart?
-Arty
