Arthur

Oh the many faces of Arthur all have one thing in common...always with a smile. <br/>Some of you may remember Arthur when he was a little bit smaller. He was abandoned on a property with other dogs, many tied to trees and several dead. As a matter of fact, sweet Arthur here was seen eating what was likely left of his mamma, badly decomposed. Our intake was as closed then, as it is now but we agreed we could take Arthur here and other rescues stepped in to take on the other dogs left behind.<br/>Our thoughts were, well he is a puppy, surely he will be adopted sooner rather than later.<br/>Well here it is, "later" and Arthur is still here. <br/>He is a little over a year old now and a pretty perfect pup.<br/>He is likely a husky mix as there was a male at the property he was abandoned at. <br/>That being said other than Arthurs vocals and playful nature he really isn't a husky personality. <br/>He has a much shorter coat and is only around 45 lbs.<br/>He is amazing with all the other dogs here. He is housetrained and kennel trained and super super smart. Arthur is even good on a leash even though he rarely has to be on one.<br/>We suspect Arthur will be good with dog friendly kids because he is just a sweet loveable guy but admittedly we have no children here. <br/>We do not feel Arthur will do great with cats but he may do well with dog friendly cats who don't provoke him to chase like the treacherous guineas and chickens do.<br/><br/>One thing is certain, you can never not have a good day or a good laugh when Arthur is around.
