Arthur's Story

Arthur is a 3yr old Shih Tzu who weighs about 11lbs. He was rescued from the shelter after his owner never came for him. He is a very sweet boy but will resource guard his toys. He would do best in a home with no small children and no other dogs due to him being protective with his things. He is currently in a foster home with other dogs and initially there were issues when the other dogs tried to approach him while he had toys. Since he had his toys taken away there have been no problems. He will also need some housebreaking as he does have a tendency to mark. This may be due to the smells of other dogs in the home or just no basic training in his previous home. Arthur would do best in a single family home with a secured, fenced yard. No young children and only dog. The adoption fee for Arthur is $500.
