Artemis's Story

How this pet arrived:This pet was brought in by their previous owner on March 27, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you: Say hello to Artemis! He is a gentle soul who often starts with a watchful gaze, but his natural curiosity eventually leads him to quietly investigate every nook and cranny of his surroundings. Once he is in the company of those he trusts, his fearful exterior fades away, replaced by a deep desire to lean in close and share quiet moments with the people he loves. His adventurous spirit shines through most brightly when he feels anchored by the presence of his favorite companions. Although Artemis may have three legs, but that has not stopped his adventurous spirit and determination to live life to the fullest! Our medical team will provide you with all the necessary information to set you up for success. Our trainers have been working with Artemis to help him learn new skills, and he is making great progress, but will do best with a family who can continue his positive reinforcement training. A virtual consult will be needed prior to adoption. If you're ready to welcome Artemis into your family, come speak to an adoption counselor to learn more today! At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Grey Weight: 63.375lbs Age: 0yrs 10mths 2wks Animal has been Neutered
