We do need the entire party to be involved when meeting available dogs, including every family member and dog(s) that currently live in your home.

Elm is a 3yo, 35lb, fully-vetted male Australian Shepherd. He is tall, light, and built very slender, with rich color and beautiful markings.

Elm is a cuddly and very people focused dog. He plays with his foster brothers and is buddies with the cat but he chooses people over other pets every time. He willingly crates but barks in his crate (quiet over night). He would probably enjoy a home where he doesn't have to be crated.

Elm adores his family, especially children, and will sit in any available lap he can. He also loves other dogs and even cats. He walks great on a leash and loves his neighborhood walks!

Though he barks at new people in the home and at dogs encountered on walks, he also asks for pets even while barking. His foster parents have made great headway on his “talking” but be prepared for Elm to be an excellent alert dog for you family!

Elm has a charming and wonderful little personality on him. He would love a home with some children and another dog or 2!
