Arnold's Story

My name is Arnold Pommer. Not sure who came up with that one but it's clever. I am a Pomeranian Mix. I am 16 lbs and about 2.5 years old. I am an adorable little guy. My owner could no longer care for me so I was bounced around to a couple of different homes and vet offices. The dog rescue world can be tough! I finally landed in an awesome foster home with other dogs and a cat. I have shown my foster parents who I REALLY am. And, this is who I am... so far. I am pad trained but surely can learn the outside route. I am playful and fun and kind to the other dogs and cat. I am more attached to the female canines in my group. If I do have a dog friend, a female would be best. However, I would absolutely be fine as your one and only! I am great with cats.

I sleep great throughout the night near my humans. I am fine in the crate for a few hours if you need to run out and do your thing. Once I trust you, which doesnt take long, I love laps and to be held. I am open to cuddling. I am a Pom so yes, I do bark especially if someone new arrives! I really like tennis balls and have become a fetching champion. I really love a fenced in back yard. Kids - no idea so we think 10+ would be the best bet. I am a great little guy who longs for consistency, a confident owner and lots of love.
