Arnie's Story

Meet Arnie! This handsome, young boy, maybe around 3 years old, is looking for an active family to share all his love and fun energy with. Arnie is a total sweetheart who adores affection, loves being included by new people, and will gently let you know when he needs to go out by giving you a soft whine or putting a paw right on your lap. He lives for play time, especially fetch with a squeaky toy, and his absolute favorite thing in the world is his giant plush banana!

Arnie is a dream housemate who is completely house-trained and crate trained. While he isn't always thrilled to walk into his kennel at first, he settles down immediately once inside and sleeps peacefully through the night without a sound. He has top-tier household manners, perfectly respecting boundaries like staying off furniture, and only barks appropriately to alert you when someone knocks or rings the doorbell.

Smart as a whip, Arnie catches on to training amazingly fast! On walks, he is quickly picking up great leash behaviors, and while he can be protective of his home around other dogs, he does wonderfully when proper, gradual introductions are made outside first. If you're looking for a clever, affectionate companion who will happily rest his head in your lap just to remind you he's there, Arnie is ready to move right into your heart!

Interested in meeting this dog?
Visit our website (https://www.sccrescue.org/) to fill out an application and to find out where this dog may be shown this weekend.

We love our dogs.
