Arnie's Story

When you ask MHS staff and volunteers what we think about Arnie, you're bound to hear the following words..."hambone"..."goofball"..."total charmer"...and the list could go on and on. Arnie is 73 pounds of happiness and wiggles. He instantly brightens any room he goes into.

Stuffed animals and tasty snackies are his two favorite things. He knows how to sit like a gentleman and he also takes treats politely. If there is a fluffy stuffy, Arnie is all-in to play fetch! Then he carries them around proudly; it's really the cutest thing.

Arnie would love to be adopted by someone who likes to be active but also likes to chill out. He's well-balanced; he's energetic and ready-to-go but we could also see him not wanting to miss an afternoon nap.

Arnie hasn't been with us for super long so we will be having him meet other shelter pets very soon! From what we have observed so far, he's had great body language with other dog friends. We'll let you know about kiddos and kitties soon! Until then, come on over to meet this hunk! Arnie is about one-and-a-half years old and is neutered.
