Arman's Story

Arman is an approximately 4 -5 year old smaller mixed breed dog who came in via the NBSPCA. Arman is a kind and quiet companion. He is over the puppy foolishness and just ready to be someone's loyal companion.

Arman is nervous of other dogs but once he sees they are safe he seems to be fine and just wanting to do his own thing. Arman is non-reactive on walks which is wonderful. You can have your stroll and he's not looking for trouble.

Arman likes the car, he is quiet and clean in his kennel.

Arman has shown some minor food and toy guarding. He lived in a home with several other dogs, so it's not suprising that keeping his resources is important to him. Because of this we are seeking an older child or adult home.

Arman has lived with up to 3 or more other dogs. But it would be important for him to meet any new dog. Female/male relationships tend to work best, but he could possibly live with another mild male dog. It would be important to feed separately and watch for conflict over items or attention.

Arman has seen cats at the shelter and seems timid of them just wanting to move away.
