Arlo's Story

Meet Arlo! Arlo is a 3 year old, male, 60 lb. Lab/Hound/Cur mix in search of a soft landing place, as his family have recently become full time care givers in the home. Arlo is not getting the attention he needs, so they have asked us to help find the best family for him. Arlo is currently living with a smaller dog and does very well with him. He still has puppy energy and enjoys wrestling and playing fetch. A rough house loving fur sibling would be ideal! Arlo is house broken and crate trained. The crate is his safe space when he's home alone. With the recent changes and diminished time with his people, Arlo was becoming destructive in the house when left alone. The crate helped him overcome that behavior and will be a great tool to help him acclimate to his forever family home. Arlo knows basic commands and is VERY food motivated. He loves chewing on bones almost as much as he loves treats. However, his favorite thing in the whole world is being with his people. He simply needs those people to be there to cuddle with after his busy days. Arlo hopes you are looking for a new cuddle buddy! We are a 100% non-profit 501(c)(3), 100% volunteer operated, no-kill Animal Rescue. Adoption Requirements: Adoptions are by appointment only and scheduled on Saturdays between 1pm to 4pm. We will only contact you if you’re selected for a meet or if we have further questions. Applications submitted late in the week (Thurs, Fri, Sat) may not be processed until the following week. Adopters must meet all listed vetting requirements to be considered for adoption.
