Ariel II's Story

7/22/2024

Ariel II is an owner surrender looking for a new home.

Hi! My name is Ariel! I am a beautiful 8 year old flashy brindle girl that is an owner surrender due to the kids in my home being allergic to me and my family's new home doesn't allow large pets. I am described as friendly, calm, protective, nervous, and affectionate! I am said to be dog friendly but I MUST HAVE a slow introduction to them, so I would likely be best as the only dog in the home. I am said to be kid friendly and currently reside with four kids (ages 7-11 years). I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. I can be a little mischievous and will get into the bathroom trash if the doors are left open or I get bored. I like to be intimidating and will bark and run towards people but once I get to them I give them kisses and want them to love on me! I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep on my dog bed or on the couch. When the humans must be away, I react fine. I am very good about alerting my family to strangers at the door by barking at them. When outside I have good behavior and do not attempt to jump fences/gates or dig. I do not like being jumped on because it hurts me. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, large rope with tennis balls, treats, and cuddles. If you think my brother and I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today because we are waiting to meet you!
