Ariel's Story

Dumped on the side of a busy freeway along with her siblings and 3 other litters, Ariel has seen more hardship in her young life than puppy playtime and good meals. She and the rest of puppies were put on a truck out of TX to have a better chance at life outside of overcrowded shelters and streets overrun with strays. We are so honored to be part of Ariel’s life journey. Still a little shy due to under socialization, Ariel takes all of 5 minutes to make you her most trusted and loved person in the world. A little coaxing and baby voice and Ariel is all over you <3. Out comes the tail wags, body sways and kisses. The puppy breath <3 She even prefers to fall asleep in your arms. Her all curled up, face tucked in the crook of your arms … it is a beautiful sight <3 Ariel likes to follow you around <3 Ariel is wonderful with all dogs. She is still learning how to walk on a leash.

Ariel is 4 months old, an Australian Cattle Dog mix. She is looking for a family who can help build up her confidence and introduce her to all the joys in life. She would love a balance of activities and cuddle time. She is super affectionate. A family with playful dogs or children to play with will make her very happy. An enclosed yard is preferred as she is still shy and a little skittish with loud noises.
