THAT FACE!!! I mean-come.on! <br/><br/>Meet Ariel! This sweet girl is looking for her new bestie! She is a silky wire haired dachshund about 2-ish years old. This ADORABLE, totally rotten girl steals the hearts of everyone she meets! She is SO stinking cute and has such a wonderful personality too! HOWEVER, She is quite the acrobatic adventurer and can scale baby gates/fences with the greatest of ease! She also DOES NOT LIKE TO BE KENNELED and she will cry and scream at times when she is in one. (See, I told you-rotten!) So-she will not be placed in a home with shared walls. (Apartments/townhomes) Unfortunately she came from a home where she wasnt taught "home skills" so she's been learning while here at the rescue but she will definitely still need training-with things like making sure she potties outside, not inside.<br/><br/>She has had all vetting completed and is ready to go to her new home! We do REQUIRE in person home visits so keep this in mind before applying.***<br/>(The general rule is that you must be within an hour of the rescue.)<br/><br/><br/>Please know that we are not a same-day adoption facility and have a very thorough application process that takes time to complete. Our team is made up entirely of volunteers that give some of their spare time-reviewing applications, calling vets, doing home visits etc. All while working full time themselves. Even though we know you are excited about the possibility of a new family member-Please be patient. We arent a "first come, first served" rescue either. We work hard to find the best match for each dogs needs.<br/><br/>The first step is to fill out an application on our website. Due to being an in home rescue, we are not open to the general public and anyone interested in meeting the pups needs to first fill out an application and get through the "pre-approval" process.
