Ariel's Story

UNDER THE SEA, THERE’S A LITTLE GIRL NAMED ARIEL!

She wants to be where the people are... preferably in your lap!

Meet Ariel! This adorable little girl is approximately 3 years old, 15 pounds, and 12 inches of pure personality! We’re guessing she might be a Chihuahua mix, possibly with some Miniature Pinscher or Pug in the family tree, but she’s keeping her exact recipe a mystery! Whatever her mix may be, one thing is certain: this girl is FULL of life, love, and enthusiasm!

Ariel is a little social butterfly who absolutely LOVES people. She wants to be wherever her favorite human is, whether that means curling up in your lap for some snuggles or joining you outside for a good play session in the yard. Personal space? She’s not entirely convinced that’s a thing!

This girl has two speeds: GO, GO, GO... and cuddle! She has plenty of energy and enthusiasm for life, but she’s just as happy being close to her person and soaking up all the love she can get.

Ariel has some pretty great qualities, too! She gets along with other dogs and cats, and she does well in her kennel, especially when bribed with a tasty treat. She’s still working on her potty training, and she can be a nervous little piddler during her first couple of days in a new home. With patience, consistency, and a little time to settle in, she’ll have the opportunity to build confidence and learn her new routine.

What Ariel really wants is simple: a family to love, a lap to curl up in, a yard to play in, and people who make her feel safe and cherished. She has so much love to give, and she’s ready to find the humans who will give it right back!

Could Ariel be the little mermaid who swims straight into your heart?

Approximately 3 years old
15 pounds and about 12 inches tall
Gets along with dogs and cats
Loves people and being with her humans
Lap cuddler and playful little adventurer
Kennels well, especially with a treat
Learning her potty-training routine

Ariel is ready to find her happily-ever-after!

Applications to adopt are available at causeforpaws.net.

Adopt Ariel, and you’ll never have to wonder who’s going to keep you company again!

Cause For Paws's Adoption Policy
In order to encourage folks to rescue homeless Orphans, we try to make the rescue experience as non-invasive and pleasant as possible. First, an application is completed prior to meeting any of our orphans. Since we do not have a shelter, it’s important to be able to pre-qualify folks that will be making appointments with fosters, to meet any of our orphans. We do a vet check, to verify all current or previous dogs are up to date on vaccines, heartworm testing, heartworm prevention, and are either spayed or neutered. We may also contact references listed on the application when there is no previous vet information, or where more information is needed. We’ll then contact you to arrange a home visit, which is merely an opportunity to ask and answer any questions regarding our process. Since most of our orphans have already been in a situation that was not right for them, we want to do whatever it takes to allow them to succeed. It is not our intent to set a dog or a family up for failure.
