Hi! I’m Aria, a 12-month-old, 90-pound German Shepherd mix who was surrendered by my owner on 02-12-2026 through no fault of my own. There was an unexpected change in my previous owner’s living situation, and my world got flipped upside down. I’m still figuring things out here at the shelter, but I promise there’s a really good girl in here just waiting for her fresh start.<br/><br/>I’m smart, driven, and loyal, classic German Shepherd energy. I already know a few basic commands, and I’ve lived with kids of all ages. I love having a job, learning new things, and being close to my person. If you know and love Shepherds, you know we’re all heart, brains, and devotion.<br/><br/>With new people and dogs, I can be a little unsure at first. When I feel uncertain, I use my voice to let you know how I’m feeling. I just like to communicate! I have shown no aggression toward staff, and once I feel safe, my happy, goofy side starts to shine through.<br/><br/>I don’t know how I feel about cats just yet.<br/><br/>The important update: I am now spayed and up to date on my rabies vaccine. There are no geographical adoption restrictions, and my adoption fee is $45. If you have other dogs at home, please bring them along for a meet-and-greet so we can make sure we’re a good match.<br/><br/>If you’re ready for a loyal, intelligent, and devoted best friend who just needs a little stability and understanding, come meet me during shelter hours.
