Aria's Story
Meet Aria

This one-year old German Shepherd mix was surrendered to SCAS after an unforeseen change in her family's living situation. Her world has been turned absolutely upside down and her existing insecurities and the wave of confusion that she already had have come down on her in the shelter environment.

Aria would likely thrive with a family or person familiar with German Shepherds or the innate drive that they possess; she knows a few basic commands per her previous family and has been around children of all ages. With new people and dogs she can be insecure and will let the world know this by using her voice. She has shown no aggression towards staff and we know somewhere inside is a happy girl waiting to be in a home once again. We do not know how Aria would do with cats.

We have no medical history for Aria and as she is not yet spayed, geographical adoption restrictions do apply. Her adoption fee is $45 and potential adopters must bring any resident dogs for a meet-and-greet. If you believe you are a good fit for Aria, please visit the shelter during our hours of operation.
