Ari

Hi my name is Ari! I was brought the shelter on 10-18-25 from the south when I was rescued with 5 other dogs from a high kill shelter. I was adopted back in October but I was recently returned on 4-18-26 due to a change of living situation for my owner. <br/>I am a 3 year old Malinois mix who was at an ideal weight of 41 pounds when I left but have now become quite overweight and now weigh almost 80! We are working on getting back down to my good weight again. For a shepherd I am actually on the small side, and would still be considered a mid-sized dog; (I'm just wider now). <br/>I am super friendly with people but would need a home without other dogs. I have my moments of high energy, but I definitely enjoy sleeping and cuddling on the couch. She would be more described as a moderate energy dog overall. <br/>We are working on "leave it" when seeing other dogs, she walks well on a leash and also knows sit, stay and paw. She loves every person she sees and is very treat motivated.
