Arf's Story

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE INQUIRING

Please only submit one online application. List all of the dogs you're interested on the application.

Meet Arf!

Arf is a Great Pyrenees x Cattle dog mix according to a DNA test that was done on one of his littermates. Hes a neutered male, about 9-10 months and 70-75 lbs. Arf is Vaccinated (3 DHPP + 1yr rabies vax + bordatella). He is also microchipped.

Arf is named after the sound he made as a pup. As with the Great Pyrenees breed, he can be a little bit aloof to strangers but he warms up fairly quickly. He sometimes walks away if you pet him over the head but he loves chin rubs, body scratches and face kisses. Once you get him hooked on that, hell let you go in for the hugs and kisses on top of the head. Hes been very good when I introduced him to new dogs and very playful! A very easy boy, he loves treats. He doesnt beg for attention and hes not a jumper. Hes not a very big barker anymore unless he sees a cat or chicken. Hes a silly boy, he just needs to find his people.

His foster mama said this about him Arf can be a bit of a resource guarder only with food but I think thats because he lives outside with my 2 crackhead dogs right now. Also, Arf hasnt had much practice on a leash. His foster mama only takes him and the dogs free walking in the orchard but thats fixable. He needs someone that is able to work with him on the leash.

Arf is fostered in Tulare currently.

If you are interested in meeting Arf click the following link. https://form.jotform.com/221116924195050.
