MEET ARES! STATS: 2 years old, neutered, German Shepherd Mix, 56 lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I am such a sweet boy! I am affectionate when the time is right, but I really love to play and get my energy out, especially with my dog friends! WHAT I LOVE: I am playful and love to run, especially when there is a tennis ball involved! I am super treat motivated and am eager to show off my skills at “sit” and “shake” when you ask! KIDS: While I haven’ t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks I would be good with teenagers who are gentle, kind, and respectful towards me. OTHER DOGS: I am dog friendly! I go to playgroup here at the shelter every day! CATS: Unknown HIS MATCH: I would love a family that will play with me and continue to teach me tricks and foster my eagerness to learn! All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
