Archie may technically be a dog, but we're fairly certain he's actually a gremlin who somehow wandered into the wrong movie.<br/><br/>This 4-year-old, 8-pound mixed breed was found as a stray and brought to ACCT Philly before making his way to us. With his pointy ears, shaggy black fur, and expressive little face, Archie looks like he stepped straight out of a 1980s creature feature. Don't worry though, he's much more Gizmo than Stripe.<br/><br/>Archie is a shy, sensitive little guy who takes time to trust new people and situations. The world can feel a bit overwhelming to him, so he's looking for a calm, quiet home with patient humans who understand that friendship is earned, not rushed. He's okay with being picked up and handled, as long as you approach him gently and let him move at his own pace. Once he realizes you're one of the good guys, you'll see the sweet soul hiding beneath all that fluff.<br/><br/>Because of his nervous nature, Archie would do best in a home without children. He gets along well with other small dogs and may enjoy having a confident canine friend to help show him the ropes.<br/><br/>Unlike movie gremlins, Archie won't multiply if he gets wet, destroy your town, or take over your television. He may, however, quietly steal your favorite blanket, claim the softest spot on the couch, and completely take over your heart.<br/><br/>If you have a peaceful home, a patient heart, and a soft spot for adorable little oddballs, Archie is ready to become your very own lovable gremlin.
