Archie's Story

We saved ARCHIE at the last minute from a kill shelter in South Carolina. With the help of very dedicated volunteer drivers, he was transported from SC to NC to a loving foster home. <br/>ARCHIE is a hound/lab mix, 5 years old, 45 pounds. neutered, great with dogs, cats unknown. He loves snuggling and has the cutest under bite which only adds to his character. ARCHIE loves being outdoors and exploring nature. He is not fond of a crate, but will eventually settle down. He is very attached to his humans and loves to be pet. The Rescue Express's Adoption Policy
All potential foster families and adopters are required to fill out an application, both of which can be found on our website. Our foster families are our biggest resource, and the more foster families we add to our family, the more dogs we can save. Our foster families are required to provide a loving, healthy, temporary home for the dogs that we have pulled from shelters who have yet to find their forever families. The rescue covers all medical expenses while our dogs are in foster care. We also require our foster families to work with one of our trainers to address any behavioral problems that develop.
