Archie's Story

Meet Archie

Archie is a sweet Maltese/Poodle mix with a heart as soft as his coat. We estimate he's somewhere between 4-6 years old, though we'll have our vet confirm. He is blind in his right eye, which we believe he was born with, and it doesn't slow him down one bit.

Archie appears to have been a bit neglected in the past-he has some itching likely from lack of care-but with proper grooming, nutrition, and love, he is already starting to feel so much better. Despite everything, he is incredibly gentle, trusting, and affectionate.

This little guy is the definition of a lap dog. He wants nothing more than to be close to his people and soak up all the love he can get. Archie does wonderful with dogs, cats, and people, making him an easy addition to just about any home.

He's working on his potty habits. If he has access to go outside, he does great and will take himself out. Like many dogs adjusting to a new environment, he may have accidents if he can't get outside, but with consistency, he should continue to improve.

Archie's teeth are in good shape with very minimal plaque, and he doesn't show typical signs of being an older dog, so we believe he still has many happy, cozy years ahead of him.

If you're looking for a loving, low-key companion who will happily be your shadow and your snuggle buddy, Archie is your guy.

If you're interested in giving Archie the forever home he deserves, please submit an adoption application.
