This 70-pound Great Dane/Lab mix is as affectionate as he is intelligent — he already knows how to sit, lay down, and shake, and he’s always eager to learn more.<br/><br/>Archie LOVES to play, whether it’s romping around the yard or tossing toys in the air. He has great manners around the house and can be a total cuddle bug, but he’s also perfectly content hanging out in his own bed if you need some space.<br/><br/>Archie is still learning how to be his best self around other dogs. He’s participated in playgroups and is making great progress, but he’ll thrive with a patient, committed adopter who can help him continue working on his reactivity with positive guidance.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and trainable pup who’s ready for adventure and snuggles, Archie might just be your perfect match!<br/><br/>Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.<br/><br/>ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance<br/>SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.<br/><br/>ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
