Archie

Archie turned 1 in December. He is 50% lab; 30% German Shepard and the rest is a mix. <br/>Archie has been with his foster since he was 6 weeks old, with a short stint with a family who returned him after breaking up. He has been to training and boarding at Snake River Four Paws where he does well. Archie can sometimes take a minute to warm up to strangers, quicker if they throw the ball for him. He is not a bite risk but likes to do a big bark that can be off-putting. For this reason, he is not at adoption events and instead we ask to meet in person at home or the park. <br/>Archie's Lab comes out when its time to play fetch, be goofy, and especially in the water. He loves to swim and be outside! His German Shepard comes out when its time to protect the house or his people. He is very loyal and never strays, always wants to follow you and follow the rules. He stays in our 4 fence and never jumps, even though he could. He is a people pleaser and wants to bond. Archie likes dogs but can be snappy at times, depending on the personality. He appreciates a dog with a strong personality to give him boundaries. Archie is neutered, vaccinated, house & kennel trained.
