Archie's Story

Meet Archibald

Archie is a 15 month old Great Dane who is sweet, playful, and has absolutely no idea how big he is. He is full of personality and loves to have fun, whether that means playing, exploring, or soaking up attention.

He does well with other dogs but can push boundaries, so he will do best with a confident owner who can continue guiding him. He is currently learning how to walk on a leash and is working on crate training. Archie is very capable, he just needs consistency and someone willing to put in the time.

He is used to having access to a yard, so accidents can happen if he is not let out regularly. A home with a yard where he can run, play, and burn off energy would be ideal for him.

Because Archie is still learning manners and does not fully understand his size, he would do best in a home without young children. Archie has so much potential to be an incredible companion in the right home. With structure, patience, and love, he is going to grow into an amazing dog.

No young children. Loves dogs. Cats unknown.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit our website and complete an adoption application at www.elpasocountycanine.org/adopt

El Paso County Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please bear with us as we process applications! We are working on changing our processes to function during the COVID-19 outbreak. We have had a big increase in people wanting to adopt (yay!) so it's taking us a bit of time to get through the applications. We work on a first-come, first-serve basis. You must apply for adoption before you will be able to meet with a pup. If you meet with a dog and decide to adopt, we can process your adoption right then and you can go home with your new family member! Thank you for adopting from us and saving our sweet dogs!
