Meet Archie: The Polite Cloud<br/>​Age: 2.5 Years | Vibe: "I'm just happy to be here."<br/>​Archie is a Great Pyrenees mix who arrived with his best bud - Rhett. Archie is the literal "calm" to Rhett’s "storm." <br/>He is incredibly sweet, social, and strikingly handsome. While Rhett is busy yelling at clouds, Archie is busy trying to hug you.<br/>​The "Pyrenees Hello": He does jump up to greet people because he wants to ensure his face is as close to your love as possible.<br/>​Personality: Quiet, friendly, and a total professional at looking soulful.<br/><br/>​Both boys are extremely treat-motivated, which is good because, currently, they have the "listening skills" of a pair of decorative garden gnomes.<br/>​We are working on basics like Sit, Off, and Down. Right now, when we give a command, they look at us like we’re reciting ancient alien poetry. <br/><br/>The MUST HAVES:<br/>​The Great Escape: Both pups require a securely fenced yard. If left to their own devices, they will pull a "Prison Break" to go introduce themselves to the entire zip code.<br/>​No "Small Snacks": Absolutely no small animals or livestock. They have high prey drives and should be the only non-human species in the home.<br/>​Dog Friends: They currently love playing along the fence line with other shelter residents—butts up, tails wagging! We will be doing formal dog-to-dog intros soon to see how they handle close encounters.<br/><br/>NEUTER APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED FOR 02/24/2026!!!!
