Aquino is a serious snuggler and an absolute lapdog - his signature move is running over, flopping onto his back, and immediately asking for belly rubs! He loves attention and affection, but is also happy to settle in his crate when he needs some downtime. He's food motivated, eager to please, and a quick learner who already knows sit and down and is learning crate and wait.<br/><br/>Aquino is dog friendly and currently lives happily with another dog. He is a friendly, curious guy who enjoys getting out and exploring the world around him. He can be a little nervous when meeting new people and may bark when someone first comes into the home, but when given the opportunity to approach at his own pace, he warms up beautifully and becomes very affectionate. He is a confident boy overall and isn't bothered by everyday household sounds like the vacuum. He also walks well overall, with some pulling when he's excited or particularly interested in a smell. He loves his treats, is comfortable in the car, and is settling into his routines wonderfully.<br/><br/>Aquino is reliably house trained and is continuing to work on his crate training and alone time. He sleeps comfortably in his crate once his needs are met, but can be vocal as he settles and is still learning to relax when his people are out of sight. He would benefit from having someone home more often than not while he continues to adjust and build confidence with alone time. He would love a family who enjoys having a playful, affectionate companion by their side and can continue helping him build his confidence and independence.
